Hello! It's time for Episode 2 of Sourdough Bread Making. In this video, I demonstrate the very simple process of blending the starter and share with you a couple of tips on the flexibility of the timing of this process, as well as substituting other grains.
You'll need your soaked grains (1/2 cup buckwheat + 1/2 cup millet) plus 1/2 cup spring water. You'll also want to have a fine mesh strainer, your blender, and a clean jar with 3-4 cup capacity to ferment the starter at the ready.
